Bordeira!
So, my absolute favourite surfspot so far on the west coast of Algarve, Portugal, is Bordeira. The place is absolutely magic no matter what day you visit it. The nature is mindblowing with all the colours and the dynamics of high and low. And, you get to choose between beach breaks or a left-hand point break.
Yes!
After having backpains for about one week, although having my beautiful mother visiting and having heaps of fun with her, I finally got to paddle out and get a couple of wipeouts. It definitely wasn’t my day but on the other hand I am so greatful to be back in the water.
I’m thinking:
You have to commit to whatever it is you want to do.
You have to show up, every day.
You have to try over and over and over again.
And, you have to promise to have fun.
No matter what, have fun. The rest will come. Eventually.
